8 x 8 Digital Media Switcher
Dealing with high definition content in a multi zone audio video system is not a straigtforwad issue. Crestron's DM-MD8X8 Digital Media Switcher offers all the functionalities which can make high definition media distribution possible.
The DM-MD8x8 is a modular, expandable high definition matrix switcher. It can handle any possible combination of analogue and digital inputs. It also has the capabilities to provide simultaneous 7.1 surround and stereo audio output from the same source, for effortless multi zone audio integration.
The DM-MD8X8 is HDCP compliant, can manage CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) and EDID Extended Display Identification Data.
Multiple DM-MD8X8 switchers can be connected with the provided HDMI pass-through output on each DM input cards. With the maximum of five DM-MD8X8 switchers linked together, we can build a very large scale Digital Media system.
CresfiberFiber, Crestron Digital Media Cable or HDMI outputs are available to transmit the outputs of the MD-MD8X8, upto 1000 feet (300 meters).
