TPMC-3X

tpmc-3x

Crestron's TMPC-3X is a great remote, by any standards. It has everything a home owner (and a home automation system designer) can wish for:

2-way Communication

The TPMC-3X has the capabilities to provide instant feedback. We can see the currently playing song, what is the current temperature in our bedroom or which lights are on in our home.

Long Lasting Batteries

Unlike other "cousins" the TPMC-3X has an amazing 5 hours continuous battery use time without charging, even with full brightness. We can also use our remote conveniently, while it is on the charging base.

WI-FI at it's Best

The TPMC-3X is the master of WI-FI. It can connect to 802.11 a,b and g networks. It has seamless roaming between access points. (We use Crestron's CEN-WAP-ABG access points for the best performance)

Touch Screen

The 2.8" active matrix touch screen with 240 x 320 pixels resolution offers lots of fun for the user and for the programmer, too. It supports 3D effects, SideShow widgets and video playback. Showing cover art or movie trailers is a fun way to make the TPMC-3X the owner's favorite.

Hard Keys

The TPMC-3X is equipped with 27 backlit, tactile keys. These easy to find, easy to push buttons make even the hardest regular remote fanatics, to give it a try.

Endless Power

The TPMC-3X looks like any other intelligent remote, but there is a major difference: The TPMC-3X connects to Crestron's control system. Any processing needed, is done inside one of Crestron's powerful central processors (CPU) and not in the remote itself. Therefore our remote will not be hung "thinking", it is always ready to take our command.

Price and Value

It would not be practical comparing the price of the TPMC-3X directly to another intelligent remotes. It is much more than a "simple" intelligent remote. It's real value shows if we compare complete projects with all the features considered.

In our Price Gallery, we have put together a few comparable projects, for your reference.
