Event Scheduler

Lighting is probably the most extensively used home automation feature. Even in a very small apartment, we need to turn several lights on and off, every single day. Turning the lights on and off all around the house, can be quite a time consuming chore. Considering the large number of light fixtures in a modern home, leaving unnecessary lights turned on, can cost us significant amount of money, every year.

We can set any light circuit in our home, to automatically turn on or off at a given time. To instruct our home system, when to turn the selected lights on or off, we use the Event Scheduler.

The Event Scheduler can also be programmed to use not just with the lighting, but with anything else which is part of our automation system.

If we would like to have the lights turn on when we enter a room, and turn it off when we leave, we can use an Occupancy Sensor.

Our home system can also use Conditional Control, to turn certain lights on or off.
